process:
For my product design project, I made something that could hold your iPad, books, or anything else you wanted it to. The very first thing I did was take two pieces of paper and covered them with duct tape. I closed every side except one so different things would fit in it. When I was done with that, one side was pink and the other was green. From there I decided that I liked the pink side better than the green one, so the green side would be the side I put the design on. After that I got my two tapes I wanted the design to be with, and put on my thinking cap. I had no idea what kind of design I wanted to do....but then I had it. I didn't want it to be a 2-D design, so I made it stick up. I got my idea from when I was younger and made duct tape flower pens. :) I took the way I made the petals and put them on the green tape. To make each one I took a piece of duct tape and folded over two edged so it made a triangle a the top. Then I put them into rows according to the design of the tape. When I was finished with that I had a little space left with green showing, so I took a piece of blue duct tape and covered it up. I ended up really liking the blue strip there when I finished.
I definitely like how this looks because it is different. I really like how the pattern and design turned out when I finished!
